Growing a Sustainable Future with Microgreens
EVEC Microgreens is an ESC project run by the NGO EVROPAIKO ETHELONTIKO KAI EKPAIDEFTIKO KENTRO and supported by a team of international volunteers. Together, we grow microgreens, learn how to cultivate them in urban spaces, and share practical knowledge and recipes to make them part of everyday life.
The project is rooted in a simple idea: eating well feels different when you grow the food yourself. Even in a big city like Athens, microgreens allow us to produce fresh, nutritious food at home, with very little space and resources.
EVEC Microgreens is about learning by doing, sharing skills, and reconnecting with food in a more conscious and sustainable way.
