The method

The crop is the curriculum.

The microgreens methodology is a hands-on teaching method: a fast, low-cost, living crop becomes the thing learners grow while they learn. Launched in 2025, it was developed and piloted inside a funded European Solidarity Corps project (2024-1-EL02-ESC51-VTJ-000225260).

  • A complete grow cycle — sow to harvest — fast enough that every learner finishes it.
  • A tray, water and light — low-cost, with no garden and no lab.
  • One method across ages and rooms, from schools to adult education.

For project writers

Send one paragraph. Get three concrete ways in.

We built and piloted this method inside a funded ESC project — so we read your idea as project-writers, not marketers. Tell us about yours: the priority, the audience, the gap you’re closing. We’ll reply with three specific ways microgreens could fit — an activity, a work-package theme, a result, or a dissemination angle. That’s your hook: the one angle where microgreens genuinely belong in your project.

  1. 01You send one paragraph — through the form or straight to erasmus@evec.org.gr.
  2. 02We read it against the methodology and the portal’s real materials.
  3. 03You get three concrete angles back — a real reply from the people who built the method.

Free and open. A real reply — not an autoresponder.
