Volunteers assembling grow rack — EVEC microgreens methodology

The Cooperative Growing Space

A real microgreens growing space in Athens, offered free to young people who want to start a business without capital — and a visitable site for study visits and demonstration.

Type: Physical infrastructure · Location: Athens, Greece · Status: Operating · Cost: Free to participants

A functioning microgreens growing space in Athens, offered free to young people who want to start a microgreens business but have no capital. It is working infrastructure, not a plan on paper: seeds go in, greens come out, and they are sold.

For an Erasmus+ or Horizon partner this is a rare thing to bring to a project. It can host study visits and job shadowing, serve as a demonstration site for citizen-engagement activities, and show learners what a low-cost urban micro-production site actually looks like in practice.
